Disregard. Restarting the computer corrected the oddities.

Help, I must have toggled off speed and other useful data

I have 22 PE. I must have toggled something off while in driver mode. While using the DCC mode, I have no basic messaging being displayed about speed or coupling. I exited one session and it's the same for another route and session. Any ideas what got turned off and how to make it visible again?

Wat Is reason For 5mph in 60mph zone?

Could this be related to the recent update (service pack) ? I had a recent situation where a train stayed in a restricted speed (15 mph) for quite a long distance despite passing a 55 mph speed board. BTW, does TRS 22 PE update itself or do I need to initiate the service packs?

    signal types

Here's a tip if you want to have flashing yellows on JR signals. Click on the signal and there's a box called Advance medium (or something like that). It will allow flashing yellows to be displayed at that signal. Yeah, it stinks that you have to do that for every signal that you want flashing...

That seems to have worked. Thanks again

TS 2022 plagued by drivers who back up when they should not do do.

I am experiencing this problem too. I have adjusted how I schedule trains from my previous experience with TRS 2010. Even on a route with dedicated double track, frequent track marks and directional marks, drivers have reversed direction passing thru red signals and ignoring directional marks...

A basic mistake that I am making

What setting do I need to adjust or make so these sparkly tiles do not appear? This seems to occur when the surrounding terrain is raised or lower. In this case a road spline was lowered below 0 and this resulted. I am using TRS 2022 PE.

Why do so few routes make it to the DLS ?

I'm going to say it. What's good enough for me is not good enough for others. Also, how would I know what people really want? Some want an 800 mile route with a 200mph speed limit so you can traverse the line in 4 hours of continuous game play. If I were to upload my boring desert route which...

    Stopping distance at signals

Jointed Rail used to have a trigger that you could add to the track pointing at the signal. It would stop trains at the trigger. It worked great in TRS 2010. I'm not sure if it's on the DLS, but it was called JR Offset signal if I remember. I'm now using TRS 22. I have so many other issues...

    Relay Box Specificarions?

Most relay boxes have large fiber optic cables and conduits running underground to trackside signals and grade level xing signals. There are lots of variables as to how many to use, set distance from signals and xings. Todays circuit boards are smaller than older signal huts needed to house...

Trainz 2022 performance is still so bad

I was only going to ask about replacing billboard style trees with Speedtree varieties. That's what I thought I saw in the first video. Also, have you tried bulk replacing track and trying out different ones? I understand how it can be frustrating. And my hat off to you for running twenty AI...

New guy having a problem with a session on the "Milwaukee Road - Avery Drexel"

Are there time limits assigned to driving or performing tasks? Maybe you are taking too long. I don't have this route or session in 22, but I had the route in an older version of Trainz.

A few questions for a longtime user

Here's a few more Q's a. Can weather and gameplay time/rate be adjusted while in driver mode? In TRS 2010 there was a quick drive rule enabled and you could always drop the menu down and change time, time rate and weather conditions. Very handy if you were tired of stormy conditions or...
