Time to get rid of those old 2D or 3D low quality people!

I have to commend those wonderful people who use their time, talent, and money (LOTS of each of them) to help us make better-looking routes. Bob's stuff is mindblowing to me. However, my artistic ability is limited to drawing straight lines with rulers. 😛 Thank you to each of our fine content...

Have you ever lost sleep over a Trainz issue?

I haven't "lost" sleep. But I have gotten so involved with a route that I forget what time it is and suddenly, it's getting light outside.

    A question on flat buildings

I am looking for flat buildings to place against a backdrop. I am working on a model railroad route and need buildings with no real depth. I have looked on the DLS under a half dozen keywords. I searched the forums as well. The only buildings I found were of a barn and some English storefronts...

    Trainz Update Announcement (SP4)

I'm not sure what is happening, but since the update to 126280, my ability to change ground height has gone out the window. Everything else seems to be working correctly, as best as it does. I have restarted the program. I ran a DBR. I even lowered my settings, and nothing seemed to help. My...

    Trainz Update Announcement (SP4)

I concur with the mouse sensitivity issue. I find that this new patch makes moving the view around ridiculously sensitive. Moving around with the mouse or even with the keyboard arrows is almost giving me motion sickness. I may try and see what my mouse settings in Windows can do to help.

    Double Track Spacing?

I prefer to use the 2 track crossings as well, but my only complaint is that the 2 track stations use a different spacing than the crossings. This is most evident when there is a 2 track crossing near a station.

Switching Between Surveyor and Driver Question

When I place signals at set distances, I use a train that measures that distance. So, I place signal in S2, switch to Driver, move the train to the next spot, switch to S2, and repeat until my eyes blur or all the signals get placed in that section. My question is if there's a way to set up S2...

    Absolute and Total Disaster

Yes. I have three copies now of the data folder. One on my C drive, the active on my D drive, and a backup on my external F Drive. Things are now set up that copies are made to the backup Drive and the C drive from the active one on my D drive.

    Absolute and Total Disaster

I just destroyed 5 months of Trainz activity. How did I manage that? Simple. I copied my data folder backup copy over the active one. Yep. The backup was done in January, So now my current data folder mirrors the backup, instead of the other way around. And since I only have 1 backup folder...

Amtrak's The Badger arrives in Wausau, Wisconsin, just as a summer thunderstorm rolls into town.

    Get Rid of UDS

I would like to cast my vote against this idea. I use both surveyor on a regular basis. I prefer S2.0, but need original for bulk removals and replacements.

    Ai Crossover Problem

I am having trouble setting up a couple of crossovers. There are two that seem to confuse Ai. The first is for an eastbound local to access a grain elevator on a westbound spur. I have the crossover set, then a section of track and then the switch for the spur. I have #6 LD signals at each...

    Driver Control Center Question

Is there a setting that enlarges the Driver Control Center window? Currently, I can see four drivers. I have enough screen to see more. Or is this something that can't be done? I'm running TRS 22+, build 123794.

    AI slowing at stations

I have noticed that AI trains choose to slow down at passenger stations. I know there was a thread back in December 2023 on this, but it seemed to have no resolution. So I decided to set up a test. I created a single straight 12 mile length of track, with stations at each approximate mile...

The whimsical physics of the Trainziverse

Sort of like a Star Trek Holodeck.
