Can you use set affinity in any version of Windows Vista ??? (adressing a certain process/application to a certain CPU-core) Have googled but hard to find a definitive answer. Has anyone tried running Trainz on its own core - and is there any gain in performance ?

Looking in to an engine file on a given throttle-notch, the left column I know represents meters/second and the right column accelerationforce. My question is - does the acceleration-figure correspond to any unit IRL such as lbs, kN or parts of hp ?? If so, which one? Or is it just Trainz...

Example in a config for a loadable traincar, say a Gondola; load0 size 54300 initial count 0 Now what units are used for size ?? Does anyone know off-hand? Read through the CCG until cross-eyed but couldn't find it...
