World speed record for steam trains

I have just broken the world speed record for steam trains with the LNER A4 Mallard in TS12.






Settings in cab mode, cutoff 36% water 61% coal 114% boiler 248psi. speed 138mph.

Took it for a visit to USA so I could get a nice long run.

Cool I got the union pacific No. 4004 up to 380 once in trainz 2009:hehe: one of my favorite trainz glitches and I had a glitch with one of the British steam engines in 09 where its wheels disappeared all because I ran out of coal and it flew back at 15550MPH!!! and it said something like -22349823498273498% coal level:hehe: also don't forget what happens whenever you jam the reverser into full reverse on the UP No. 4004 :hehe: its really funny but I wish auran would fix that glitch

DPR Steam loco can go well over 500mph+ in cab I never had it at full speed it details at 512mph. max speed: unknown

All sorts of speeds can be run in Trainz if you tweek the engine spec, but this one has a prototypical espec, it is limited to 125mph in DCC mode. Its a bit of a struggle to get it up to that speed in Cab mode.

hi everyone does it count if you hook up like 10 jet sled A23s to the mallard I just got up to 407 MPH I don't know if this would be the cheating way of setting the speed record

the trainz early version I think it was trainz classics but in a video of this crash someone did if you crash off a jump the whole train flips then it lets you stay in the cab while the crash happens

well, I reached this speed, but it's hard to not derail.

I'm going to go ahead and guess that the real max speed for trainz is 999,999,999 MPH. Not sure why Trainz doesn't like speeds above 2 million.
