Trainz in 4K

So apparently, new computer monitors in "Double Full HD" resolution are now available, known in the market as "4K". I certainly don't have the coin for one or the time for quite a while, so I was wondering, has anyone gotten such a rig up and running? Mind-blowing screenshots?

T2 is still at alpha testing stage. You will find screenshots, but no mindblowing ones.

You'd need a lot more computer power to drive all the pixels so think in terms of the fastest GPU and CPU available, TANE might be better suited to this type of monitor but you're probably talking megabucks.
