It is loosely, and I mean heavily loosely based on my drive to work and my work location of Vallejo CA.
I am working on finalizing the scenery so I can add down the textures and be done with this part of the route and move to the next.
A L&A symbol freight rolls through Columbia, Ohio on the L&A's freight bypass. Below, amongst the maze of tracks, lie the mainlines of the LE&E and CA&L, and the leads to Central Station. The freight bypass will eventually take the L&A freight through downtown Cincinnati, allowing the train to bypass the numerous freight and passenger facilities stacked against the Ohio River.
Here we have Norwood, Ohio and it is a busy place for the L&A.
What you see here is City Hall along with part of the downtown shopping area. In the distance you will see many of the factories in town.
In these shot you will see the Norwood station and one of the local diaries. Across the tracks is the beginning of what the locals call Brewery Row and the L&A serves five of them in this spot.
There has been a big buzz in town over the new Kroger that was just built though some of the smaller grocers are not happy.
An aerial shot of the right of way along with the beginning section of the Norwood engine facility. Next to the tracks are Norwood Coal and Feldman's Feed Company. The large factory next to them is U.S. Shoe and is supplying the U.S. military with thousands of boots a week.
Below is the Norwood locomotive coal along with the lubrication shed and roundhouse just ahead.
Last we have one of the towns biggest employers, Von Falck Armaments. Due to an alternate history World War One is quite different and this factory along with many others are running around the clock.
