Howdy folks,
Thanks to Nikos, I now have a great little RS1 to play around with, and I must say, he did a sick job skinning it. So, after wrapping up the detailing in Lumby, I took her for a spin.
Here the RS1 leaves the Lumby sheds. On the visiting engine siding, an LV PA1 idles away. The NH is considering offering trackage rights to the LV on segments of Highland and is seeing how well LV engineers handle the diverse terrain through trial freights, passengers, MoW, etc.
Moving towards the train at the opposite end of the facilities, the RS1 was passes it's work partner S2, which just wrapped up assembling the transfers so the RS1 can drag them to Greenwood. The S2 is waiting to head back to the engine house to fuel up.
Coupled on to the transfers, the RS1 will bring it to Greenwood yard and try to beat any passenger traffic to avoid delays.
More to come!
