I wanted to know if there was a way to get a mesh of a horn and use it as an attachment? Such as adding a K5LA to the top of a train or any mesh. Can I do that?
AttachmentMaker[/SIZE] A program to add attachment points to existing assets by creating an invisible mesh with attachment points. Very simple and quick to use; add attachments in minutes. Added show textures feature.
I have not attempted to detail all of the ways in which attachments can be used. It is up to the user to make the appropriate changes to the asset's config.txt file to get any new attachments to show in the simulator.
Latest Version is 1.07.
Similar to CRQ4125's comment, I want to add a horn to a locomotive. The original horn was an attachment, so i can just remove that. But how do I add my own horn mesh file? Or just any mesh for instance, such as ditch lights like here on this locomotive.
Experiment on clone.
For replace horn
Find a horn mesh (Not Sound) with Content Manger
edit cfg loco file to that mesh kuid save, commit, view in Railyard.
I played with Attachment Maker but it was a little to confusing for me.
I wanted to move a horn back behind the U30C cab and place a rotating light.
