Cars not showing in surveyor

I have recently downloaded some of arraial’s cars. They show up as installed in the CM and are not missing any dependencies and have no errors. They do not show in the content list in surveyor. For some reason other vehicles that start with the word car are not showing up in surveyor even though they show as installed with no issues. I’ve had no problems with his other content like trucks for instance. In tying to solve this I noticed I had other cars by different builders not showing in the surveyor. Any Ideas? It seems kind of strange.

They are possibly defined as trackside objects, to be used for road traffic. You will find them where the signals and other trackside objects are.

Thanks Peter, yes they are trackside objects. Is there a way to use them as static objects anywhere I want?

Remove the following from the config file:

trackside 0.01

Thanks Ed, that worked. I just did that with the Ford Mustang. There’s always something new to learn in Trainz.
