pdkoester your images made me realize I made a mistake and forgot to change the motor cut-out switch for the SD40-2. Does it have any effect on performance? No, its just cosmetic, but it does reflect on accuracy and I should fix it and you never know maybe one day it will be operable. download item again for the fix if you really need it.

Is there a possibility that some day we might see these SD7's in their pre BN merger paint schemes?

The BN's SD7 roster was comprised of units from the GN, CB&Q, C&S and the FW&D.

GN 550 - 572 to BN 6000 - 6022

CB&Q 300 - 324 to BN 6023 - 6047

CB&Q400 - 411 to BN 6048 - 6059

C&S 810 - 819 to BN 6070 - 6079

FW&D 850 - 860 to BN 6080 - 6089

All 22 units ordered by the Great Northern were delivered in the Empire Builder paint scheme. Only numbers GN/BN 551/6001, 561/6011, 562/6012, 563/6013, 566/6016, 569/6019, 570/6020, and 572/6022 received the Big Sky Blue scheme before the BN merger.
