Blast from the past, a wee bit of history of the Trainz Team at the top

Hello

Movement at the Station.

As one Trainzer departs, an old favourite returns. Henk (Cafe) Plaggemars has decided to pursue other career goals beyond the world of Trainz and upon hearing this, our old friend Rob (Rob) Shaw will be returning to Trainz after an absence of 2 years. In addition, Lance (prr001) Jago will be taking over management of the regional websites http://www.auran.com/TRS2006] and the Trainz on the Road program, Lance left a year ago, while Dr John Banks has moved into a new role at MyVirtualHome http://mvh.com.au/portal/index.php and "having fun running a new communications/marketing team" there.

In other changes, Greg Lane, Auran's founder and long-time CEO, has taken on a new challenge as CEO of MyVirtualHome http://mvh.com.au/portal/index.php. Auran has developed the MVH software over the past 2 years and will continue to develop future editions. Greg will remain as Auran "Chief Creative Officer" and Tony Hilliam takes over the reins as the new Auran CEO.

Tony got the top job 2 years ago.:)

Regards

Ahsan:)

:p Eppur si muove... Galileo Galilei should have been member of the Brew Crew.

BTW, of late I haven't had news from old friend Henkie (really a great guy). Does anybody know his whereabouts, is he still in the States?

The moving side of Alberte :hehe:

Side note for dear Ahsan: :hehe: No, Ahsan, my post as CEO is at my home, rivalling with my beloved wife. :p

;) And he was very proud of it. I supported this pride too because after long years of everybody whining here about having to use the wonderful Trainz Objectz from third party Terry 'Tabweb' Franks (How's he? BTW), since the old Trainz & TRS2004 Content Manager was just a joke from Brisbane, finally we got a decent Manager. At first it started mumbling and twisting, but as time goes by it has become a steady useful tool which I'd miss if not present in Trainz right now.

The mumbling side of Alberte

Many thanks for letting us know what is happening at the Trainz Headquarters Ahsan.

Its nice to see some old names again, and that the team has expanded over the year.

Great news in general for Trainz.
