Best rail-only track for TRS19-22

Hi,

Not sure this is the best forum for this question but I am looking for recommendations about good track for use in TRS19 or 22 even. There's so much to choose from now but a lot of the older stuff that I have installed is low resolution and I want something that will look detailed and up-to-date. My main request is for the kind of track rail-only (no sleepers) you get in UK industrial sites/docks that is embedded into the concrete/road, I guess its similar or the same as tram tracks, for example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weymo...3109_Weymouth_Harbour_Tramway_August_1981.jpg

Any recommendations are most welcome.

Kind regards,

Gary

Try this if you have <kuid2:506034:7534624:1> Tidewater Point Rail v3 installed.

<kuid2:37581:80001:1> RTRAX Streetrun 1

You need to lower the track ever so slightly because it floats a bit on the surface.

The alternative is to use YARN roads with no traffic and then use SAM track. The roads are thick enough that the ties don't show, and the rails are right at the surface of the roads. I do this all the time for my dock areas, factory yards and for street running.

Best one I've seen is <kuid:243828:100403> C+ TR Inset Bullhead rail, as that closely matches the Weymouth tramway. I looked at doing it a while ago and that was the closest I found.

Cheers,

Definitely go with RTRAX. Best stuff out there for streetrunning. For rails only, try Trainboi's TF Track pack (https://trainz-forge.com/scenery), and when you install it, search in CM "no ballast"

Perfect, many thanks for all your suggestions, I have a few options now that will greatly help with my urban route-building.

Kind regards,

Gary
