Question Copy Data Field Text from Content Manager

    Hello,

Looked and could not find answer. I am trying to copy the text out of the Content Manager. I have the data fields I want to copy, choose Select All, then Copy. When I paste it into Notepad, I only get the Name and KUID fields. Is there a way to get all the fields simply? Here is a screen shot of what I'm doing and the some of the resulting text below.

    <kuid:647907:101146> CJD Ore Valley
    <kuid:647907:100186> CJD Airport International
    <kuid:647907:100058> CJD Big Bear Pass
    <kuid:647907:101887> CJD Oil Refinery West
    <kuid:647907:100031> CJD Airport North
    <kuid:647907:100400> CJD Coop Town
    <kuid:647907:101392> CJD T Intersection LH
    <kuid:647907:100048> CJD Chemical City
    <kuid:647907:100056> CJD Oil Refinery South

What about talking directly to the interface, has anyone broke into it? or is there an API for it?

You are lucky to even copy/paste the kuid and name fields. Half the time I try to copy/paste them, it fails to copy anything. I keep repeating the sequence until eventually it decides to work. No idea why it's so flaky. Trainz CM is the only program on my computer that acts like that.

I would love to be able to export the data as a CSV because that would be very helpful for building reports for dependencies and even database cleanup. To be able to do this, N3V would need to provide a connector from the underlying database through the ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) interface which allows programs such as Excel to read the underlying data and build queries. I used this to build all kinds of inventory, customer shipment, and backorder reports.
