Multiple players operating ONE train

Is it at all possible for two or more players to operate the controls on the same train in multiplayer?

i.e One person "drives" the loco and the other "operates the doors" of the passenger cars.

No. Only one Player at a time can control a driver

What about throught scripting? Just like there are two control types "DCC mode and cab mode" is it possible that someone script a third control type called "conductor". And whoever picks this type can claim only "rolling stock" (not locos), thus allowing them to operate passenger cars??
