Could anyone provide a Latin version of a well known 3D games modelling tool?

It is likely to be much easier to understand than the English version.

We could call it Gmaximus.

I love "Pugnus Lymphatica" for "Battery Loco"!

I did "A" Level Latin and actually got a "B", but I must admit I did this with a translator and edited it a bit afterwards.

Top marks. Mick.

I am a qualified Latin teacher (!) but have never practised the art for real - except for one experimental lesson, teaching Latin as a spoken language! - and I couldn't have done this excellent config. But please let us all hope that the idea is not adopted by 'the powers that be' when the next version of Trainz is published. I can see the supply of new content drying up - rapidly.

Don't governments lose money from education?

So, if they wanted to just make money, they'd scrap all education and you'd have to go to some $10K+ Private school. But if they did that, they'd lose votes I guess

Jamie

Anything that requires money from the gov't is considered a loss from them. They're always going to loose money. $600 trillion in debt, 65% to China alone.

Whether education costs money or not depends on how you look at it. The US government spent several million dollars after WWII paying college tuition for military veterans, the "GI Bill". Someone did a computer projection study on the actual cost, and concluded that if the GI Bill hadn't existed, all those veterans never went to college and got midrange blue collar jobs instead, they would have paid X number of dollars in income tax over the next 40 years. The actual income tax paid by those veterans, since they did get a free college education, was so much higher that the US government actually made a HUGE profit on the investment.

Very well put. I wonder if the wackos that hate government have received any government money or assistance. I assume they stick to driving on dirt roads and avoid the government created Interstate highways. Goes back to being raised in a highly prejudiced household and then nurtured in a bad educational state run system where the curriculum enforces the stuff their backward parents taught them. They are probably good people but buried beneath a pile of ignorance.

Yes, well, it's shocking how intolerant people can be and how keen they are to make generalisations.

Problem is, the dictators and control freaks that love government so much have created a system that, aside from being unsustainable, breeds and rewards ignorance. A dumb population is easy to manipulate. It's ultimately big government that got is in the mess we're in.

Oops, I seem to have double posted.

Wait, should'nt this thread be called you are what you type?

No.

I think it should be called, "You are what you type and finally decide to submit".

You ought to see some of my first drafts. Sheer garbage.

Mind you, what I submit probably isn't much better!:o
