Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit w/ Trainz 2012

Thinking about purchasing Trainz 2012. Wondering how it will work on my PC operating with windows 7 ultimate 64 bit? PC specs: Dell Precision T5400, dual quad core 2.5 ghz processors, 16 Gb ECC Ram, NVidia GT 640 Video Card w/ 2 Gb of memory, 15K RPM HDD, directX 11


BTW am a newbie at train sims. Appreciate any tips & tweaks advice.

Should run OK on that rig - if you can afford it, get a SSD for Trainz - speeds things up and smooths them out no end.

Second tip: have a read of Shane's tutorials at http://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tutorials/ before you do anything, start with installing and patching.

Third tip: say goodbye to the rest of your life, you'll get hooked.
