Windows 7 & Trainz 2006

Hello, I am getting back into trainz and I have a copy of trainz 2006 that I want to install on a 6 month old Toshiba laptop that is running windows 7. Is it ok to do this and will I encounter any problems? Thanks for the Help Elliot

The program will install fine under Windows 7, install as administrator.

Will the old Toshiba be able to run it, is another story. There are issues with built-in video and Trainz. Trainz does not like the Intel Graphics chip for one, and the memory allocated for video on a laptop is pretty paltry, so even if the graphics chip-set is acceptable, there may not be any oomph in the machine to do it.

So having said that, give it a try and let us know what the results are.
