Window Mode

Trainzoptions line: -windowed, replaces the -fullscreen line.

And in Trainz / Options you select the next smaller size down from your PC's native resolution.

Running windowed is great for surfing the web, and using maps, and Google Earth, while in Trainz surveyor.

ON my system, if I select "options" on the opening splash screen, I get a "Configure Trainz" window with several tabs, one of which is "display settings". Selecting that tab allows me to specify the display mode (Direct X or OpenGL), Display resolution, Bit depth, Aspect ratio, and Antialias mode. Although my monitor is significantly larger, for the reasons cascaderailroad recited, I have the display set to smaller than full screen in that tab.

Hi mjolnir,

If you are using TS12, there should be a small box between the 'bit depth' and the 'aspect ratio' boxes with 'fullscreen' alongside it, make sure the box is unticked.

Also, the 'display resolution' should be the same as the width x height in your trainzoptions.txt

Cheers,
