Wierd Water colour help please

i just noitced today when i was just starting to build a small island i put some water down and it was all brown instead of the usal blue heres a screen shot of it Any help would be truelly great

More info, also experiment with different textures beneath the water areas !

Also, set the terrain circle to minimum size, set the "use Height" to the height of the water and go aroun the edge of the baseboard to lift the outer edge to water height. it makes the edge seem to disappear instead of stopping abruptly. It makes a real difference in the finished look.

i think the region you select decides the initial water colour. correct me if i'm wrong, though.
