Hi guys.
Been a few years now since i last was in here.
Thinking about maybe starting Trainz all over again.

As some of you know, a did a lot of Routebuilding in the past, but that was mainly 06.

Wich version is the best so far? And wich do you recommend?

Let me know.

Lars

Hey Lars!

Please provide your current computer specs so we can help. We don't want you to install something that won't work.

TANE is the way forward, but you do need a powerful graphic card and a higher end computer to run it at higher settings.

Ahhh the Tane bandwagon, well I am very dissatisfied with it to say the least, but I got the standard version....absolutely can't get over how "dated" all the routes look vs. TMR17 which at least I enjoy 5 out of the 7 that come with it. I guess maybe if your a route builder Tane is the way to go since it has supposedly more assets then TMR17 but hec look what I am doing to the Brazemore Yard Layout.

I am having way more fun in TMR17 then Tane but I tend to make my own paths instead of follow others....or rebuild them, lol

If your interest is primarily in route-building and not the built-in routes, then unquestionably T:ANE Service Pack 2 will be the way to go.
It's in public beta right now and shouldn't be too far away for roll-out to all.
There's a good deal available for the current versions purchase (T:ANE SP1 HF4) right now (66% Off - ends 18th April, so be quick!)

Lar's welcome back and Happy birthday for yesterday mate it is great too see you pop in now and then and yes i still have Ida Yard among a few of your other amazing creations. Personally i am on Tane SP1 and find it ok but i also don't and can not route build to your level so not sure if it is stable enough for that mate but yeah i am enjoying it so far.
Cheers Mick.
