It's probably been like that since it started - if the content belongs to someone else, they must either do the upload themselves I'm afraid, or allow you to upload it under your own user ID (which requires a change to the asset KUID).

The likely reasoning is to prevent users uploading content that is not their own.

The only exception to that though is if it's an asset that you have claimed on the DLS Cleanup project and wish to upload a fixed version - this needs to be done via the Planet Auran > DLS Cleanup page.

Actually Shane I read that as a route from ibertrainz has been cloned and uploaded to the DLS by someone else? Presumably without permission?

That's possible. If that's the case, the original creator of the route needs to contact Helpdesk.

Yes but never was into the DLS, the layout is an external creation.

In that case, the original route creator (i.e. the user who's name the route is under on IBTZ) needs to contact N3V via the Helpdesk including the relevant KUIDs.

Thought so, what you need to do is report it to the helpdesk and they will get it removed, takes about a week, just had some cloned stuff of mine dealt with.
