Why is there no GP40/SD40-2W's downloads?

Have you checked Trainz Pro Routes yet? Tons of CN equipment like you were asking about and I think some wide cabs also.

Dave.......

I have a TON of wide cab SD40-2s from somewhere, but I can't remember exactly. :o They were freeware though so you should be able to get your hands on them. I don't know about any Geeps but when in doubt, what Dermmy said.

They're at Maple Leaf Tracks.com

They will happen...

 HelloCNSD40MRT, welcome to Auran Trainz!

Though we may not yet have what everyone wants, we have the world's best train-simulation platform.

New stuff happens all the time, your not the only one that likes what you like & yes, with time & tools you can contribute to your wishes.

Here is a way to keep-up with what goes on around here.

Find your place & hang on!

These are for MSTS only, I do believe.

Absolutely correct, Dave. I asked Andy a while ago whether he'd be interested in producing routes for Trainz, but he said he wasn't interested. Instead he's continuing with MSTS1 support.

His stuff is great. I personally own his D&H Bridge Line and B&O Sand Patch routes.

Only because they killed off my favorite prototype. The Illinois Central. But, we got even. The guy who ran the I.C. in the ground is at the helm of the C.N.

I have a handful of GP40s (all UP) and a TON of SD40-2s, for Southern Pacfiic, Union Pacific, Great Northern, ATSF, CB&Q, Burlington Northern and BNSF for my 1975 and present day layouts. Most, if not all, of these locos came from third-party sites.

I have found a plethora of second-gen diesels (got Dash 8's and 9's by the dozens, which with the ARN numbering system, can actually represent HUNDREDS of locos), and several suitable steam engines for my 1954 layout. But I am seriously lacking in the first gens, like F units, which when alongside steam power just screams early to mid 50's. Problem is you can't search DLS for anything shorter than three letters, so F9 for F3 doesn't work.

Jointed Rail has excellent freeware F units.

The erecting hall has some excellent repaints of those as well. Very nice models. Have a look at them, maybe find what you like.
