Why Is It?

This is the question. Working on a route in classic mode and when I place items in surveyor and save them and then re-open it again the items placed previously are not there. It may take 2 or more times replacing same items as before for them to show up on the route. It makes you want to delete the whole game. Very frustrating.

Make sure you open the route to edit using "Edit Route" and not by "edit session". Edit session is for placing trains and using commands. When asked to Save the session or overwrite session after working on the route always do so as information may otherwise be lost. You will be asked to save the session if you have opened the Trains tab, changed environment controls, etc.

I've done that and still have to keep replacing objects numerous times before game actually saves them.
