Who knows something about Schedule Library?

I have just discovered Schedule Library in TS2010 from another Trainz member. This enabled me to give 9 drivers their Commands so that when I clicked Drive Session, all the drivers started at the same time. Marvelous, I did not have to programme each train, every time I went into Drive Session. But, there is one big snag! Although I put in the 'Repeat' command in the Library, it does not show up on the driver's schedule so eventually all the trains stop.

Any ideas anybody?

Thank you, Shane

I found Enable/Disable Driver Commands but when I pressed Edit it said: Error Property Browser Refresh.
A script error occurred when attempting to edit the properties of this asset

Any ideas? I know nothing about Script

That is the wrong command. You want "Enable Repeat" kuid2:192081:2:3

Shane, I searched the CM as you suggested and came up with nothing.

Trevor, I put the Kuid number you suggested like this 192081:2:3 into the search box and got the answer 'nothing to display'

I appreciate the help from both of you. I really need to enable the Repeat command if I am going to use the Schedule Library, any further advice please?

You do not need the final :3 when you put the kuid number into the DLS searchbox only 192081:2 and remember to check the kuid seach button. I forget this all too often and wonder why I get no hits. The results screen will show all the available versions for the required asset.

Sorry about the apparent misinformation but I just read in another thread that the kuid search is not working properly. Try doing a search for enable repeat and that should give you the asset.

Yes, using the name instead of the Kuid, worked. Enable Repeat went straight into the Driver Command. BUT, I ticked the box, went into Drive Session and the Repeat command still did not show in the individual Driver's schedule. What am I missing? any ideas?

You have to tick the repeat box in surveyor then it will appear in driver. But not in a previously saved session.

Fran1, Thank you for your response.
The problem is, that that is exactly what I am doing; Ticking the Repeat box in Surveyor and then going into Driver. Not a saved session.
This sounds a bit daft, but what I have just tried is, moving all my trains well back from their first destination, then going into Driver - when, of course all the trains start at the same time- and as fast as I can, I go to each train and add the Repeat Command. I want to get all 9 trains running to watch for any problems of signalling and passenger trains being held up by freight etc. Of course I need to solve why the Repeat command does not appear in the drivers schedule.

Keep the ideas coming folks, because I am stuck.

Hi Hovisman,
I may be barking up the wrong tree here, but I created a New Session, opened a new layer called Session_Repeat, gave a driver two commands then Repeat.
Showed up and worked a treat in drive.
Bet it is not as simple as that;)

Hovisman - The way to use Enable Repeat is just like any other driver command: click the small green arrow on the schedule bar and look for an entry 'Enable Repeat'. Select it and a red infinity sign will appear as a driver command.

You can move commands around by dragging them from one position to another, or discard them by dragging right off the schedule bar.

its easy to miss

Hovisman,
Check the schedules you've enabled the repeat command. Look at the end of the command line, the repeat is very small compared to the rest.

Whenever I have copied a drivers schedule from the schedule library and need the train to repeat it again I just add the copy from schedule library command at the end, this means every time it gets to the end it restarts the schedule again.

Gentlemen between you, you have provided the answer. I knew it would be something simple that I was missing. Firstly I have been using the repeat command for years, but I am new to Schedule Library and Enable Repeat. When I pressed repeat in SC it came up as usual - the small icon - but not in the driver's schedule. It did not occur to me to look further down the list to find Enable Repeat.

Thank You
