If you're interested in UK/steam type layouts, TC3.
If not and you have any interest in creating layouts, then TRS 2009 WBE + the later version.
If not and you have any interest in creating layouts, then TRS 2009 WBE + the later version.
i woudl get 2006, untill they get all teh bugs worked out of 2009

I have trainz v1.3, and am currently in the process of buying trs2004. From what I have read from reviews etc, it looks pretty damn fine. The only thing that is bugging me is, does the game come out with the TGV?? When I get the game I will reply to this again and tell you what I think. Thanks

Yes it does (only the origional red and white livery tho)
That's a question many have asked and you'll get many different answers...
Which of those two versions to get will depend a lot on what you have for a system.....there is a lot of info on both versions in this forum....read away...

TRS2004 works very reliably for most people. It's the last version which includes support for scenario creation and operation.
TRS2006 has a serious problem with the sound that affects some people. It is the first version with the CMP asset management database system that most people find very unreliable and complicated.
