Which is better for TS12

an out of the box laptop or desktop? It's time to buy a new PC for TS12 and i'm looking for a great out of the box laptop or desktop to run TS12 with no laging frame rates and no need to upgrade right away and all that other stuff. I just want to fire up the computer and have Trainz run great with no problems. Any suggestions on a system? Thanks.

Desktop, by far. Are you up for building your own or having a shop build one from a parts list you give them? A DIY will usually be considerably faster than an OEM (name-brand pre-built) and possibly cheaper.

Not sure where you live but I'm from NJ and I've had two systems built by these guys and if I had any problems they were taken care of with no cost to me except shipping. Oh yeah, when you call you get to speak to someone who you can understand.
