where to take the load

load of what?

how do you get the info on where to take the load

If it is passengers, try your local railway station.
If it is coal, try a power station.
If it is General Goods, use an Industry track

Sorry, we can't help any further unless we know what you are trying to deliver.

Unfortunately, Trainz does not have a built-in system to assign destinations to individual cars. If you are wanting to model prototype operations, the only solution is my CMTMSystem2. It assigns a destination to every freight car on your route, and displays that information in a pop-up window. Think of it as a car card system on steroids. Here are some of the features of this system:

Every freight car on the route at the beginning of a session is given a series of destinations from a database that is created for the route.

Every freight car that arrives on the route via a portal is given a series of destinations

Each freight car that arrive on the route via a portal is loaded with the product you specify in the database.

The train on which the camera is focused will have its car's information displayed in the pop-up window.

The current car on which the camera is focused is highlighted in bold print.

Multiple destinations for cars permit more prototype operations such as scale track, clean-out track, RIP track and other extra destinations for your freight cars.

No interactive industries are required

Any trackside spot on your route can be an industry

Allows for empty car storage tracks

Session can be saved and restored with no loss of data.

Supports continuous multiple day operations with capability of different trains each day.

Supports load/unload time of up to 99 hours, that is 4 days 3 hrs.

Time advance allows jumping forward in time if there are no activities for an extended period

Requests for empty cars to industries are issued daily shortly after midnight

Thru traffic patterns can vary from day to day.

This system is has been in development for the past 18 months. It has been tested and debugged and tested again and again. The version described here is for 2010 only. Installing it on a route requires a condsiderable amount of effort in developing the database. This system is for the serious model railroader that wants to run prototype operations. I'm looking for a few hardy souls that can do some final beta testing.

PM me if you are interested.
