One of the problems I constantly run into is trying to find something from the DLS that is posted in one of the forums. If the person talking about a particular route, session, rolling stock, loco, etc. doesn't give the exact spelling and leaves out one small bit of punctuation, good luck in trying to find it on the DLS.. I have given up many searches because I was missing a space, period , comma, no space between words, etc......
The next issue, is that after spending 15 minutes searching for something, you find out that it won't work in your version of Trainz, which the person posting never bothered to mention. How difficult is it to say... " This is my new route, or session, or whatever, and the exact name on the DLS is " __ __ ___ ___ __ " and it will work in TS 10 and TS12 only. To really make it simple a link from the DLS like this would be the gold standard. https://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS_viewasset.php?AssetID=247329
I know many times, I read about something on one of the forums, and if I can't find it right away, I forget about. I bet that happens to many people, they just don't bother with the hassle.
