Where did my corn spile field go?

In OBJECTS, SPLINE MODE, I found a corn field spline. It worked great, I made a nice corn field. But, on my next session, I could not find it again! I found it in Content Manager, it shows no errors or faults. How do I get the corn field spline to come back again when I am in spline mode? I have a lot of fields to plant.
Any help would be appreciated.

Some vegetation splines don’t show up until you get quite close, when they will suddenly pop into view.

Have you tried getting close in?

The other possibility is that you forgot to save. We’ve all done it!

Thanks for the info mezzoprezzo, but the problem is when I open the Objects Tab and go to Spline Mode, it isn't listed in the menu any more. In fact, I never noticed it until just before I used it, then it wasn't listed any more. The field I planted is fine and growing! I just have four more fields to go! I have a pretty big field of corn now, a blind man couldn't miss it.
I did find the corn field spline in content manager, I just need to know how to get it to show up in the Objects, SplineMode Menu:'(
Now if I could just get my thumb to work on the space key, it wouldn't take me so dang long to type these posts out.....lol

Try hitting "g" ("get") and clicking on an existing corn field. That should select it in the Objects tab.

Yep, hitting get got it!!!!!:udrool: Now it is time to plant some more corn!!
Now, if I can only get the spline to stay in the menu, but this will work fine, and now I have figured out how to find out what something is on the layout that I want. I won't have to search for it in the menues,

I think you will find it is in the menu, specially if it responds to the 'Get' button. There could be an underscore_between_words or NoSpacesInTheName or maybe-its-hyphenated any or all of which will confuse the sorting. Next time you use the 'Get' button take note of exactly where it sits in the menu, or even easier drag it and any other hard-to-find stuff into the Pick List (funnel shaped icon on the Surveyor tool bar)...

Nice suggestion Andy, but when I do the get, the name only comes up in the window as if I had selected it from the menu. It shows up nowhere in the menu, except at least once when I found it and used it. It was in the menul then but I haven't seen it since. I will try your suggestion, and also, now whenever I want to find out what an item is, like I forget the exact name they used for stop sign, I just click get and the sign, and bingo, there it is to use! I've had some pretty screwy things happen with this game, but on the whole I'm having a lot of fun. I get a lot of building accomplished where years ago when I had the room, it took a while for things to start to come together. And, learning things at my age keeps the mind limber...lol I'm only sixty,,,,,

I've got a lot of stuff missing too, but I just moved from 2009 to 2010. Since I don't have Trainz running right now, I can't tell you the exact wording, but look in the menu at the top left for "Options" or "Settings". In the Surveyor settings, there is a checkbox for showing only the favorite items (or maybe it was show all, I don't remember). Make sure it is set to not restrict you only to (what it thinks is) your favorite items.

But I was able to get the corn spline back on the objects menu by doing something in the search window. But when I close the session and restart, after saving, I still have to go back to that little window. I'm referring to the search window. I'll probably figure it out by the time I am finished planting all the corn and don't need it anymore.
I never expected so many usefull ideas so fast here..... Many thanks to all.....I'll keep plugging away, and I guess it will all work out.

Jeff,

Did you set a filter up in the search? If you did, this will hide everything else except what you were looking for. If you get an asset with the get asset tool, it will appear in the content list but nothing else will. To avoid that, try clearing your filter and all of the assets, along with your corn field spline will reappear.
