We have a place in Nova Scotia where you can sleep in one of several cabooses. I've never made it there....yet.

They are asking €250 per night to sleep in that thing btw.
They are also in the process of selling the place and moving to Portugal, so be sure to check the status on that before booking a night.

At 250 euros a pop I'm not surprised they're moving to portugal, 5 star hotels come less than that.

When I was a boy it was quite a common thing in Gt Britain to have former railway coaches in many places near a rail line. It seems to have been a cheap holiday by all accounts. Seems to have more or less vanished nowadays although the clerk at my local station said he stayed with his family in one on the English south coast a couple of years back.
