I faced same issue in my TRS2006 on W7 64bit, some bogey sides which were using alphas were not appearing in the game. I also faced randomly white locs or wagons or even cabs, I think it is related to DX since in OpenGL it showed correctly (but lagged unusually). So far I didn't solve it and I can say it makes me pretty mad, I would like to spend time playing game and NOT hunting stupid incompatibility bugs.
