What use is the pick list...in CMv3 or surveyor?

You can drag an asset of interest into the Pick List and it will show up in the search drop down box in surveyor. Its a very useful tool but you need to clean it out occasionally.

Howdy..
So if I have bridge kit (scenery,spline,track and etc) I can list all pieces in the CMv3 pick list with out having to search for them in the surveyor menu.

Correct.

Also very useful for doing visual checks of assets after repairs.

Works both ways too. Drag into Surveyor pick list and view it in Content Manager.

It's also useful in CMP for making cdp packages, for like releasing an item with it's dependencies all in one cdp.

One more thing is the search at the top in Surveyor. Type in here and it will show you only that you have installed.(Type in CSX it will only show you all the CSX rolling stock you have installed)
