What TRS2009 version are you gonna get?

the title says it all what TRS2009 version are you gonna get? I plan to buy the world builder. It says it has better surveyor mode and thats what i always used in 2006 so if its better i have to get it. How about you all?

i pre-ordered the combined world builder edition DVD which has both as mostly all i do in surveyor is add my own trains to existing routes.

I either add a train to existing route or build a new railroad from scratch. I'm gonna do my best at building a alleghany mountain route so hopefully there with be C&O hoppers and maybe even some c&o locomotives.

Will both of them be sold in stores or do you have to buy world builder online?

World builder edition for me, I've found the texturing is much better, Ive posted some shots in screenshots. Able to blend textures much easier

Well, I read a little while ago, that there is no surveyor function in the Engineers version, which seems very strange.....What happens if you want to rotate a tree or something, or move buildings and other route assets about, you'll be stumped !!!!!
And how can you actually put a train onto your route before you move into Driver mode if there's no surveyor ???

You're correct. To move trees, replace track etc you will need Surveyor which means World Builder Edition.

In Engineers Edition you will be able to place trains within a Driver Session using the new "Driver Setup" mode.

Plus also when you buy TS2009WBE, once TEE is released Engineers Edition (TEE) is an "expand-alone". If you have WBE installed, TEE will install on top so then you get all the WBE features plus the new EE features and EE content. If you don't have WBE then EE is a standalone version of Trainz that doesn't include the Surveyor module.

The WBE looks very promising to me as I love Surveyor. I must show my route off somehow though so I will get TEE to drive my trains around.

I am not preording as I would say that both will be found in retail stores around the world correct? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi Adam,

As far as I heard WBE is download or DVD from Auran only, TEE will be available from Auran and retail outlets!
