I tried to upload a route to the dls and they sent an email back with the reason why, can someone pkease explain what it means

The kuid is my route and the names are the names of the turnouts or points.

This means that your map's config.txt file has a bunch of extra tags at the top level. By your description, these tags should actually be within the string-table. It sounds like you have a stray '}' in there somewhere.
