Always needing help
Hi all,

Hope someone can help.

I have a problem laying down signals/track markers/track direction markers etc.on tracks,
At first when i open my route/layout i can place as many as i like.
but as time goes on it won't let me.
So i'm having to restarting Trainz again and again and again,so it lets me place the items to track.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Brad

There seems to be a total blank on this one.
Are you using seperate layers for the said items? This could split them up somewhat and maybe point to the offending item.
Have you checked for faults in the route using CM?

If this happen just go to layers and click on Session Layer again. Most of the time something made it jump to Route Layer.

Thanks for the help everyone,

I never thought about layers being the trouble,as i always open my layout in edit session.

what has happened is part of my layout shows in route layer and part in session layer.

i always open in session layer so i dont know how it got into route layer.

How would i now get them into one

@Ghost42....neighbours ...i'm from leicester lol

Regards
Brad

Merging works, yes.

As to why it happened when you 'always use edit session', most likely at some point you tested the route/session using F2-quickdrive, which for some reason (probably because it's the first layer and it defaults to that) always resets editing to the route layer when it returns to the editor.

That is good info, never knew that. Unlike other software there is no visual reference as to which layer you are working on.
A visit to the layer pullout is a must.
