I need a steam whistle (on the DLS or built in) that actually works correctly. The one that's in the current steam train I'm using can be heard as if it's right next to you, even though the locomotive may be 15 miles away.
Whistles? That's a subject everyone will have an opinion on. I use a North Eastern Railway whistle I really like on some of my pre-grouping Uk engines, but I wouldn't know where I got it from originally.
