This problem seems to occur with some video cards. Try going in to C M., turning off hardware-accelerated texture compression, then opening for edit and commiting all of the assets that are showing this problem. That should fix it, as far as I know. ;)

Regards.

Right, guys, known issue. ;)

For others going through the same... still unsolved and no news from the developers...

Fortunately, we have that solution but... why must we go decelerated? :hehe: Yes, I know, there's an oil price increase crisis again but... :hehe:

CM3 is working a bit slower when installing, committing, etc. than before when it was ticked on. Of course, when unticked, our hardware isn't allowed to handle acceleration when compressing/uncompressing files in the CM3.

The accelerated side of Alberte

I get a different problem with my new GT240 - the system often freezes, sometimes and locks up or hangs entirely. Even Task Manager may not start so I can't terminate the process, and this is with the newest drivers as well as 260.99. Turning off hardware acceleration fixes it, and the performance penalty in committing assets isn't too bad; it takes about the same time to commit an asset as with my old 8400GS. Still, though, Alberte's right and it would be nice to be on the accelerated side even if it doesn't affect in-game performance.
