My understanding is that JR does not own the USLW site, but rather is hosting it. The site, and content on it, are still controlled by USLW. I also understood it got hit by some kind of nasty, and that the site is being rebuilt.

half true. JR does own and host the USLW site. the USLW team however is autonomous. to be blunt the site is in the middle of a complete upgrade because it was repeatedly hacked again and again. we have elected to let things cool down some and carefully rebuild so that the problem does not return. this is taking some time but the site will be back soon.

I am puzzled what value these people find in hacking the website of a small community in a very niche hobby with a tiny web presence. Wouldn't they be better off spending their time hacking the website of big corporations or government databases, that sort? M0rons.
