What Do You Think?

I won't be doing anything Trainz related until the end of this year or early next year. So I have two routes I've done plenty of planning for both of them.

Here's the first route:

Iguodala Metro:
31 stops
Includes a commuter train known as the Dandelion and an overnight service called the Garnett Rocket
A large Railyard in Iguodala and Jensenburg
Multiple Interactive Industries
Interchange with the rival Meadowview Eastern Railroad
Entirely flat land railroading with tracks going in a straight line for the duration of the route but considering that you'll be surrounded by buildings and have to encounter multiple grade level crossings and have plenty of switches I'm sure that it'll negate it. This is to be set in the 1950s. I had a previous attempt but lost interest so this while be revived and revamped.

Second route:
Garrard Pass:
8 stops
Includes a Diesel Refueling Depot in all eight cities
A set of tracks at the first and last stop on the route dedicated just for helpers.
Multiple twists and turns in the rails as well as numerous tunnels and constant ascending grades until the fourth and fifth city when the summit is reached and you won't be going any higher but will be going down hill after the fifth stop. A modern day route.

So what do you guys think?

Dude, I think you're fairly close to becoming a poster that does what you've already criticized another poster for!

You're going through basic training for the US Army soon, I would rather believe you're getting prepared, running, doing calisthenics, practicing folding pants, anything but Trainz! Get outside and run, run and run some more, and when your aren't winded from running 5 miles, stuff some weights into a backpack, and run some more! Shine your shoes, yes, get some shoe shine in the tin and hold a lighter under it until it's melting and shine your shoes! Buff, buff and spit on them shoes! Buff, buff and buff some more!
Stand up straight and practice your salute! Straighter.... I'm talking to you MAGGOT! Good morning sweethearts, you have FIVE MINUTES to eat your breakfast, and then fall out on the grinder! How many push ups can you do? You better do fifty or the whole company goes for a nice ten mile run! You left a sock hanging on your rack; you're going to "IT" tonight!

Seriously Kris, you have a world of hurt in front of you; stop thinking Trainz and get as prepared as you can!

I fear that point was passed some time past... The army instils discipline and self control though and that's never a bad thing.

I agree with Ed, but me thinks that Kris is finding it hard to put trainz down and leave it behind!

I have a few family members in basic training right now -- all I can say is run, and run some more again, etc --- that's all they do --- running faster then a trainz!

sorry for not answering your original question, but it's hard to say without more info!

my 2 cents!

When you go in the Armed Forces (National Gaurd I presume) your life as you know it will be changed forever (for 13 weeks) ... no communication asside from collect call - toll telephone calls and US Mail letters.

No cell phones, No PC's, No E-Mails ... no nuthin' at all.

They are going to mold you into a mean lean green fighting machine ... If you are Regular Army ... your PC and Trainz will be 12 months distant ... remember what I said: In the Service ... Thieves are everywhere ... and your electronics will be stolen every day.
