What a surprise...A sound problem.

Here we go again,

This time my bell skips in and out.
I downloaded USLW's Chessie System GP40's two 1/2 days ago, they worked fine.
I was gone for two 1/2 days, and came back to run them, when the bell starts skipping randomly in and out of the cab.
Yes, my computer was left in grandmothers hands, not to blame her, but in case something may have come into the computer while she was using it.

Is there anybody who may know what is going on and how to fix it?
This is only in CAB mode.

Thanks
Woody

Woody,

As you reported in another thread, and now this thread, your insinuation that grandmother is corrupting your computers is becoming boring.

Please enjoy your grandparent(s), don't put blame on them as a convenient excuse for something that YOU may have caused on your PC.:(

With sadness,

I'd tell grandma to buy herself her own computer if she'd keep messing up mine. But my grandma passed away in 1988 so no need for that anymore, hey? :hehe:

Woodman, Grandmother not with standing, are you running with Sound Hardware Acceleration at 3/4 or less? Do you have a dedicated sound card?

As far as "Dear Old Grandma" concerned, she may be less tempted to use your PC if only you would get rid of that Bobby Darin screensaver...:D

C'mon man, at the very least you could've shut down your computer and taken the power cable with you, though I can't really tell you what course of revenge your grandmother would take. Blaming granny aside, I think you should try doing a system restore to a date before you left. That might solve the problem.
