Well, that would be true if it was meant to be a typical WP locomotive model, but it isn't. Both the Zephyr skeme and the standard perlman greens represent very specific engines at very specific times.Also, the JR variant has some details missing from the model if it were to be a true WP model, such as the ash can headlight on the rear (the JR model only has it on the front), and the paint is off. For WP GP7s, the Western Pacific lettering on the side would be in a straight line, as opposed to the staggered lettering on the GP9s. Also, for most WP geeps in the Zephyr scheme, the zebra stripes on the front would be black, instead of the one large white chevron. Also, there have been photos of a few geeps with the white stripe in between the zebra stripes. There were so many variants in the scheme, JR would have to make a pack of geeps with different variations.
