Western Pacific GP7/9?

Also, the JR variant has some details missing from the model if it were to be a true WP model, such as the ash can headlight on the rear (the JR model only has it on the front), and the paint is off. For WP GP7s, the Western Pacific lettering on the side would be in a straight line, as opposed to the staggered lettering on the GP9s. Also, for most WP geeps in the Zephyr scheme, the zebra stripes on the front would be black, instead of the one large white chevron. Also, there have been photos of a few geeps with the white stripe in between the zebra stripes. There were so many variants in the scheme, JR would have to make a pack of geeps with different variations.

Well, that would be true if it was meant to be a typical WP locomotive model, but it isn't. Both the Zephyr skeme and the standard perlman greens represent very specific engines at very specific times.

No. 707 represents how it was back in 05 when it came up to Northern California to exchange and move equipment. In order to do so they needed to comply with FRA mandates to run on the UP mainlines, thus they added the ditch lights. As for the skeme, it is correct for her at that point as well, as is the singular front mounted coffee can.

As for the others, 713 and 712, the models represent their appearance in modern times (some more modern than others :hehe:). The only thing that strikes me is with 713, the lettering on the side is not quite staggered enough. Apart from that, it is pretty much exactly as we have her at Niles Canyon Railway

Though I have to say we keep the real 713 waaaaay cleaner than the model :p LYING :o

Yes, and again, it'd be nice if there were some versions of these in game, with ARN, and so on. What would be cool is if they did like, geco skins, and have each skin be a different number.
