Weirdest thing I have ever seen

I am working on my Yadkin Valley RR route in TS12 (SP 1 fully patched) planting trees and shrubs, when all of a sudden when I rotate the view in Surveyor most of my work disappears. When I rotate clockwise certain things disappear; when rotating counter-clockwise they mostly reappear and other things disappear. What the heck? I wish I knew how to make a video and post it to show, because this is the weirdest thing I have ever seen.

Anyone ever had this happen before? I am using Pofig trees and shrubs (I have thousands of them on the route already) and have not had anything like this happen before. Could it be my graphics card acting up? It is an Gigabite GTX660 2GB card only 9 mos. old.

I just went into Driver mode and it is happening there too.

Weird, man.

Hi Connel,

This happens in Surveyor.

Save your route, exit to the main screen and then return back to Surveyor and things should work okay. If not, exit the program completely to the desktop and restart it and it should fix the problem.

It's related to memory and graphics not loading.

I found that changing from 'Open GL' to DirectX worked for me . But then I have to put up with the faulty text problem.
Lesser of 2 evils.
cheers,

I am running DirectX all the time. It has corrected itself now, but for a while it was WEIRD. I planted a bunch of trees and then rotated around to see how they looked from other angles and BOOM! most of them disappeared. Rotate back the other way and other ones disappeared.

Thanks, for the help.
