I have been having simular issues with 2010. Grass and some trees cause the objects (rolling stock, locomotives, buildings, et cetera...) to become transparent. Most of the grass effected by this for me is short enough so that in most views I do not even notice, but if I try to get a nice side shot of a locomotive it can become almost completely transparent!

I have lovingly labeled this odd effect the "Auran Philadelphia experiment." :o

As far as TS2010, turn on anti-aliasing from the Launcher's options screen. As far as TS2009 (which I believe the pics are from) I'm not sure what to do, though you could try using anti-aliasing if you aren't. Worst case you might need different trees or something. (I have heard mentions about a bug in TS2009 that does the same kind of thing as shown in the screen shots. In TS2010 they fixed that issue, though older trees may have some other graphical issues if used in native mode.)

In TS2009 you will need to use compatibility mode, or use the trees on the DLS by TNM and / or Jankvis designed for that version.
