Weekend Shopping Spree!!!!!

Cab Driver
I went on a shopping spree this weekend because I could not resist the sales prices on SimulationCentral. I got the Blue Comet, Settles and Carlysle, and this morning I downloaded Classic Cabon City. They installed with no problem ( once I figured out which serial number to use), and they all look great. I especially like the Cab on City with the street cars and city scenes, but they are all fantastic. All for $15, and it will take weeks if not months to run all the routes and sessions. I have so much stuff now on my TS12, I don't think I will have run out of places to Trainz.

:)

A member would have to very, very poor, or else foolish to not take advantage of the sale. Yesterday was my birthday, so I also treated myself to a few items! I really hope they make a ton of sales!

Just running S and C Carlisle to Skipton with a Steam passenger train and t-storms along the way. The scenery is fantastic, AI trains rolling by, passengers waiting at the stations, lots of ai traffic on the roads, and frame rates from about 55-70 seem to be the rule, with all my settings cranked to the max. Smooth as silk.

I need a new car, furnace, washer, refrigerator, and computers but I bought a second copy of TS12 for my son because opportunities like this don't come up often enough.

I want to take advantage of the sale to get the Duchess and Coronation (bought SnC for my birthday) but I'm not allowed to buy things over the internet unless it's around Christmas or my birthday. My birthday was a few months ago and Christmas is a few months away. I'll just have to wait for a Christmas special, I guess.

Sitting here, really jealous! I really want that Coronation and those Duchesses! :'( A FCT woul be nice too, preferably a lifetime one. That'll wait until next year, I want the trains first!

Not too crazy on diesels so I won't be getting the Class 14.

It was a fantastic sale, I gave up on Steam and repurchased Trainz 12 from the store, along with 7 other add ons. I also find that the DL Trainz from the store is running way better then the Stream version ever did.

I bought some stuff too last night. I wasn't going to do it, but I couldn't resist! I couldn't afford the full price for the NS Heritage pack because I just got my car insurance bill, but these prices are awesome. :)

I got the Jointed Rail NS Heritage Pack and the Aero Train. The total purchase cost me $22.48 AUD or $23.44 USD :D

The purchase went fine and download was simple. I used PayPal because I didn't have my AMEX card available - I was too lazy to go upstairs and get my wallet.

I may buy a gift for my cousin. He's another train fan and hemmed and hawed over getting Trainz. At $12.48 I think he'll enjoy it.
