I just made a small winter route in trs2006. I changed the weather to snow in surveyor and saved the route but when I go into driver it`s not snowing. How do I save the weather I choose in surveyor so it shows up in driver?

Open your route in Surveyor, then click the Edit Session icon in the upper left corner of the screen. Select Control Type - Edit. If the top type isn't called Startup Options, click add, scroll down to find it and select checkmark and use the upper arrow repeatedly to move it to the top of the list. Then highlight the Startup Options bar and set control mode, weather, start time, realism, etc.

Thanks, Bob. So with answers comes more questions. If I change the weather changability to periodic does that make it clear and sometimes snowy? Does extreme make it mostly snowy and sometimes clear? So is the weather and clock under world in surveyor there just so you can see what things will look like under different conditions?

The answer is yes it changes periodic from clear to light to heavy snow every 20 to 30 mins. Extreme means faster and changes a lot form heavy to clear like you said. Yes the weather clock just shows you what it would look like in that condidtion.

This is a great mod in my opinion.

Just add it to the session, then edit the properties of the rule. Then, click the little >> buttons to add the weather that you want. (degrees of rain, then degrees of snow.) You can then add what increment you want the weather to change (2mins to 10 mins) and the percent chance that it will change.

It is a really awesome system.

There is also the "Change Driver Conditions Rule" on the DLS, which I find to be a very valuable tool. You can change the time/weather etc whenever you want, along with DCC/Cab Mode and time rate.
