Wayback machine

It's a lot to explain here in detail. The gist is:

You search for the website in the search box.
Cross your fingers and you'll get some results. Usually there's a list of dates at the top of the display when you click on the link provided.
Pick a date you want to look at...

The website may or may not load completely... Usually, there are missing buttons and most links, if not all won't load at all. Sometimes though, you're lucky but don't count on it.

Go to the downloads page if there's a link for it and pray that you can download what you are looking for. The content links are mostly broken, or you need to fiddle with the files when downloaded because things are missing from them such as extensions.
Now for the downer. Most download links on the Wayback Machine are broken, or the content is corrupted when you download, so all the prayers you had, are dashed. This has been my experience searching for old Trainz websites on the Wayback Machine. Other people may have had better luck than me.

If you are looking for dependencies, you may be better off investing, it costs about $10, in an annual subscription to Trainz Kuid Index. www.trainzkuidindex.com Here you can search for missing dependencies, and even come across the sources of other great stuff you can download.
