Waterfall Steam Effect

Hi all, I'm building a layout using TRS2009 build 41844. I'm try to use the Steam Effect Large Waterfall Kuid No. 78193:350. I can place the effect onto the layout but have no control over it. I can't move, rotate, or raise it. The only way I can remove it from the layout is to use Undo. I know this effect was built for TRS2004 but hoped I could us it in the Compatability Mode. Does anyone have any suggestion how I might make it work with TRS2009. Thanks.

I guess no body can help me. Pitty, I surely would like to have used this effect with TRS2009.

There is probably a small object in the effect on the ground you need to click on to adjust/remove it. I don't recall what exactly is used in the effect you are asking. But generally is a solid colored box which is less then an inch square or so on your screen. If you can't find it and still want to use an waterfall effect I would suggest the Dam effects by Vulcan (on the DLS) as these have large white water objects you can adjust them by.

Thank you for the advice Peter. My Waterfall Effect (by the same builder) works fine. What I'm trying to do is put a misting effect at the base of the waterfall.

Hi lander - you will be able to see the effect much better in wireframe (F9).

Don't know it this helps but you can try.

I have the same situation with all three waterfall steam effect by author 78193 (large, medium and small). Although they can be placed on the map in TS2009 they cannot be moved, rotated or height changed. They could be moved etc in 2006 but not in 2009 native or compatability modes.

I now use kuid2:31293:23017:1 Waterfall Bottom Plume and kuid2:31293:23016:1 Waterfall Top Plume which can be moved, rotated and raised/lowered in 2009 to give the spray effect at the bottom, top or any intermediate height on the waterfall.
