After upgrading my Ts12 from 49922 to 61388 I have many assets with various .tga files registering a warning similar to this one, that they have a uniform colour. If I am using the Windows 7 in-built MS Paint software, how can I fix them?
Alternatively if paint will not do it do it what do I need to do to fix them?
Cheers

Not sure about paint - but gimp will certainly do it and it is free. As far as I know all you need to do is alter 1 pixel of colour to make it work properly.

I had the same problem when I installed 61388. I solved it by using PEV's software "Images2TGA". There is a function there that puts a couple of pixels into the image which fixes the problem.

Thanks to all who replied. I did the EDR Bob, as soon as I installed the upgrade and although there was about 800 errors I'm now down to the last 53, most of which are .tga files as above. I have tried PE's Images2TGA but couldn't get a result so activerail, perhaps you would be kind enough to give me a breakdown of how you did it. PEV was one of the contributors to the 2012 thread on the same subject and didn't mention using his program so I'm keen to see how you did it. On that 2012 thread referred to above by Neil, there are two valuable comments in Post #9 by an N3V moderator who said to either eliminate the .tga file [How? If I just delete it, wont that bring up more errors?] or reduce the size of the file. Has anyone reduced the size of a .tga fie in MSPaint and exported it back to the asset folder? I have found how to reduce the size in MS Paint but cannot get the file back into the asset folder. Any help out there? I don.t want to just commit the warnings because it apparently causes a performance hit and this problem is likely to get much worse with T2 so need learn how to fix them. Cheers

Activerail - Thanks Gary for the PM. I was wondering why it would still not work for me and checked with a friend, gremlin1812, and find I had an earlier version of Images2GA and that was a big part of my problem so thanks for yours advice I have just downloaded the correct one now which apparently is V 1.27 so that will keep me out of mischief in the evenings. Cheers
