Not complaining here, but I don't understand how you can say someone was in the lead longer? If that's the case then why bother having a time limit for voting? People could have voted for someone earlier but not bothered posting until the last minute. Someone could have voted at the last minute putting that person in front, but in reality the person might not have had the lead the longest, so using it as the format for a tiebreaker isn't exactly 'fair'.

Again, no hard feelings or anything, just my $0.2 on the issue and wanting it clarified

I'll solve that. We will do a tie for first with both winners getting first place prizes. 2nd Place will get the regular 2nd place prize as will 3rd. So whoever was technically in 4th place will now be in 3rd. How does that sit with you guys, seems fair from here....

I didn't think my method was the best to go with, it was convenient and seemed logical. lesley, I understand your position on the decision, and I wholeheartedly agree. I determined it by who had the most votes during the competition. 3830 was in the lead for more of the time than you, but it did come out as a tie, so Mike, again, has shown his signature generosity. Sorry for any confusion, and congrats to our winners.

That's alright, was just wondering how it was worked out is all. Although a tiebreaker would take more time it may be worth it for future competitions. Was a rare occurrence really though to get a tie for first and second, shows how close the competition was I guess.
