Voting for Screenshot of the Week: 3/4 to 3/11

No It's just an edited face and I will back you up with that. But it's THEIR model so be careful out there.
I have plans to do a "Special Edward" and if i get a yes from Richard it's yours.:)
Hi,

I posted a video about all the reskins, but they removed it, saying I reskinned their models, but I'll do a video proving that it is not a reskin.

I've done:
Special Edward
Emo Henry
Crosseyed Scottish Twins
Crosseyed Thomas (2 of them!)
Crosseyed Gordon
Stuffed-Up Henry, the face he had before he sneezed on those boys.
EDIT: And Duck's face after he was lathered up at the barber shop

I can send you some pics if you want.

Special Edward and Emo Henry are in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quetQTdOMsA
Skip to 13:00.

Anyway, enough of that!

Is your version 3D then, and do you have to wear those special glasses?:hehe::cool: I thought that all Trainz editions were 2D?

dear friend Casper,

Yes my version TS12 runs full 3D and eats only 3to 4 fps more when wearing glasses. it is absolutely stunning with glasses and I have no 2D billboard all is full and prototypical 3D ladnscape all moutains are exactly at the height when you verify with google earth and my routes.
i almost finsihed number 4 Field Revelstoke see my blog Canadian Rocky Mountains 2011 2012. i am most pleased with speed and qualtiy with such a big(huge)route? when released you will see even on a 4year old acer notebook with stunning results and fps. Yes I am more than excited as the results are way above what carefully expected so far.
keep up the great work from your side.
Your friend

Ning and Roy;)

Casper, I would love to see what you could do with SpeedTrees in the latest versions of Trainz. You use billboard foliage so well in TRS2004; I'd think that you could make some absolutely amazing scenes with SpeedTrees. You might want to go for TS2010, which has a compatibility mode so that faulty older content can be used without being fixed and billboard trees will still work.

I still have that 20%-off TS2010 voucher. ;)

Retro no Casper should go for TS12 I think

I honestly believe to make the jump to TS12 and just replace assets on the go. Do not take TS10 as intermediate as this is not even close of the capabilities of TS12. I have taken my routes from 2004 all the way to TS12 and it is not a miracle thing to do just disciplin and order in what to do 1st n 2nd.
Foilage in the hand of an artist like Casper on TS12 is showing the forum exactly what Trainz can do for u. I am more than proficient with it myself but have to restrict myself not to indulge myself and my routes on every corner as close to 400 km is just to much and never get finished so I hold back many times and take a few scenery corners to detail more than others.
Retro thanks for handling the screenshot competition for us.

Roy n Ning;)

Oops - apologies to all on two counts:

Firstly for not voting: if I had voted first place would have been a tie!

Secondly for not responding with 'Thanks' sooner. I have had a hectic week with both work and health issues and have not been giving the forum as much attention as I normally do.

Thanks all!

Andy
